John is 10 year veteran startup CEO that possesses a rare technical acumen to compliment a 20 year career spent in early stage business and product development. His unique ability to put emerging technologies to work solving customer business problems has been his trademark skill since he began his career in IT and telecommunications product and business development in 1999.
John has successfully led the international launches of a number of new products and businesses. His expertise includes raising and managing venture capital, corporate structuring, identifying and executing potential mergers and acquisitions, and creating high performance advisory boards and management teams.
With his friend and business partner Delano Seymour, he is the co-inventor and co-patent holder of 6fusion’s WAC algorithm.
Under John’s leadership, 6fusion raised over $30M in venture capital, completed the acquisition of Markitx.com, formed a global business with industrial engineering giant Worley, and played an instrumental role in the creation of UCX. UCX was the IT industry’s first ever commodity exchange for cloud computing contracts based on 6fusion’s patent portfolio and supported by the CME Group in Chicago.
As a founder of EDJX, John is the business model visionary and the curator of the company’s overall commercial strategy, strategic partnership relationships and go to market execution.
He presently serves on the Board of Directors of 6fusion USA, Inc., Requis LLC, and was previously a member of the Board of Managers for UCX, LLC.
John is a frequent industry speaker on standardized IT metering and unit economics. He is also a founding member of Infrastructure Masons (iMasons.org), where he remains an active contributor.
